“In everything I do, I always give my best because I am truly passionate and dedicated to my work,” says Adrian Fernandez, Certified Tourism Professional. For him, leadership in hospitality starts with a personal commitment to excellence. “I always try to improve and make sure to go above and beyond to provide exceptional service.”
Fernandez believes professionalism is the foundation of effective leadership. “I take pride in being professional, staying focused on the needs of the customer, and being honest and respectful. I am dedicated to going the extra mile to make sure guests are happy and their needs are taken care of.”
As a leader, he emphasizes teamwork and empowerment. “I like to work with others and encourage them to do their best so we can all reach our goals. I also stay open to new ideas and innovation, always looking for ways to make the guest experience even better.”
His leadership approach blends innovation, collaboration, and efficiency—qualities that have helped him become a respected figure in the tourism and hospitality industry. “My leadership skillfully integrates innovation, collaboration, and efficiency, making me a rising figure in the tourism landscape.”
These qualities have not gone unnoticed. Fernandez, a proud graduate of the University of Baguio, holds a Bachelor of Science in Tourism (cum laude) and a Master’s in Business Management Administration. His achievements include being named Regional Tour Guide of the Year (2024) and earning the Master Regional Tour Guide title in the Cordillera region.
He believes that leadership in hospitality also means inspiring others to adopt the same standards of service excellence. “Even when things get tough, keep going and don’t give up. If you work hard, do your best, and believe in yourself, you’ll see the rewards later.”
For aspiring hospitality professionals, his message is clear: lead by example, stay committed to continuous improvement, and never underestimate the value of genuine service. “When you’re passionate about something and have a clear purpose, you’ll eventually find success.”
