At a time when rising living costs, inflation, and economic uncertainty are forcing many Filipinos to rethink their finances, one of the country’s longest-running financial literacy events is returning this Saturday.

The Financial Fitness Forum 2026, organized by the Registered Financial Planners (RFP) Philippines, will take place on April 11, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM via Zoom, bringing together some of the country’s leading financial experts to help Filipinos improve their financial habits and build long-term wealth.

Now on its 14th year, the Financial Fitness Forum has become a flagship financial literacy initiative of RFP Philippines, an organization that has been advocating financial education in the country for more than two decades.

The event was originally launched by Registered Financial Planners Philippines as part of its mission to help Filipinos become more financially responsible by providing access to practical financial planning knowledge—from budgeting and saving to investing and retirement planning.

Over the years, the forum has attracted thousands of participants including professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and young workers who want to gain better control over their financial future.

A full day of financial planning insights

This year’s Financial Fitness Forum will feature more than a dozen Registered Financial Planners (RFPs) and industry practitioners who will share their insights on personal finance, wealth management, investing, and financial behavior.

    Among the featured sessions:

    • Rex Mendoza, RFP®, bestselling author of Trailblazing Success, will discuss how individuals can turn financial goals into real-life results, emphasizing discipline, consistency, and long-term thinking.
    • Noel Arandilla, RFP®, CEO of International Marketing Group Inc., will present The Building Blocks of Long-Term Wealth, focusing on the foundations needed to achieve financial independence.
    • Mariel Tablan, RFP®, ICF professional coach and professional neuroplastician, will deliver a session on The Resilience Playbook, helping participants protect their finances during uncertain times.
    • Christopher Cervantes, RFP®, author of The Seed Money, will discuss how individuals can move from spending to saving and making their money work harder.
    • Fitz Villafuerte, RFP®, author of The Ready to Be Rich Guide to Investing, will talk about financial planning for every stage of life, offering guidance for individuals at different stages of their financial journey.
    • Rienzie Bilogena, RFP®, columnist for The Manila Times, will tackle managing risks and securing returns through global investing.
    • Rose Gases, RFP®, YAMAN coach of Personal Finance Advisers Philippines Corporation, will explore the psychology behind spending behavior, a topic that helps individuals understand why financial habits are often difficult to change.
    • Janice Sabitsana, RFP®, Business Mirror columnist and content creator, will discuss how savers can transition into becoming investors.
    • Edwin Suson, RFP®, financial advocate, will present Golden Years, Not Guilty Years, focusing on building financial independence for retirement.
    • Jesse Llamado, RFP®, licensed real estate broker and Chief Growth Officer of JML2 Realty, will share insights on avoiding common real estate investing mistakes.
    • Karlo Biglang-awa, RFP®, Head of Sales at COL Financial Fund Source, will explain how to build a diversified global investment portfolio.
    • Jendee Sapo-De Guzman, RFP®, certified life coach, will discuss the dynamics of money conversations and personal money styles.
    • Jesi Bondoc, RFP®, entrepreneur and Business Mirror columnist, will talk about why being “madiskarte” alone is not enough to achieve financial security.
    • Alijeffty Gonzales, RFP®, financial planning and investment expert, will discuss life insurance layering strategies and financial protection planning.

Together, the speakers aim to give participants a complete view of personal finance, covering financial behavior, investing strategies, wealth protection, and retirement planning.

Promoting financial literacy in the Philippines

According to the organizers, the Financial Fitness Forum is part of the broader advocacy of Registered Financial Planners Philippines to improve financial literacy nationwide.

Through its certification programs, seminars, and public education initiatives, the organization has been training financial planners and educating Filipinos on responsible money management.

The annual forum serves as a platform where financial planners can share practical lessons and real-life financial strategies that individuals can apply in their daily lives.

    Supported by industry partners

The Financial Fitness Forum 2026 is made possible through the support of several organizations in the financial services industry, including:

    • International Marketing Group (IMG)
    • Kaiser International Health Group
    • Manila Bankers Life Insurance Corporation
    • ATRAM
    • Rampver Financials

These companies continue to support financial literacy initiatives aimed at helping Filipinos become more financially prepared for the future.

    Helping Filipinos get “financially fit”

With the theme of helping Filipinos “get informed and get in shape to financial freedom,” the Financial Fitness Forum continues to encourage individuals to take a proactive approach toward managing their money.

Now in its 14th year, the event remains one of the country’s most accessible platforms for financial education—bringing together financial planners, experts, and everyday Filipinos who share the same goal of achieving financial security.

For many participants, the forum is more than just a seminar—it is a reminder that financial success begins with knowledge, discipline, and long-term planning.
